While recently speaking with Entertainment Tonight, alongside her best friend Amber Rose, Blac Chyna, born Angela White, opened up about her relationship with Wendy Williams and her appearance in the Queen of Media’s controversial documentary.
In a clip from her interview, Chyna was reminded of her “heartfelt moment” with Williams and asked how she ended up in the documentary. She said, “I just went over to her house [and there happened to be cameras]. I popped up. I knew the security downstairs because I used to come there whenever I was in town.” Chyna said Williams had no idea she was coming over and was surprised when Chyna knocked on the door and she opened it. However, that wouldn’t be the only surprise that day.

Chyna also talked about how vulnerable Williams became with her during their sit-down. Williams not only took off her wig but also showed Chyna her feet. Chyna said at that moment she “just wanted to be there for her.”
She added, “I just really wanted her to see me. Because sometimes I feel like whenever we’re going through something, or in a space, sometimes we need just love, and somebody to just listen. I feel like a lot of times people just want to talk all the time or if you go to them with your problems, they want to counter it. When this happened to me, instead of listening to my problems, and not saying anything at all, and that saying nothing at all says a lot.”

Blac Chyna also recalled telling Wendy Williams how she appreciates her always being honest and treating her like a mother. She said, “When I say ‘motherly,” in the Wendy Williams sense if I do something — which this was Chyna — if something happens, Wendy’s going to get the news. So, she’ll hit me up like, ‘What is this? Why are you doing this?’ That’s why I said the ‘motherly’ part.” Chyna said Williams would give her the heads up whenever she would run stories about her and give her tough love.
Chyna said she didn’t watch the full documentary, just clips from the project. She also mentioned that before popping up on Williams that day she didn’t know that their conversation would filmed, much less that Williams was filming a documentary at this time. She said when she arrived producers told her and asked if she’d like to say something nice for Williams’ documentary. She obliged, and then when she began speaking with Williams, the cameras started rolling and that’s how she ended up making the cameo.

When asked about how she felt about the documentary, especially with so many people being against it due to Williams’ health and more, Chyna said, “I think it was definitely necessary to be made. I feel like [with] these things, people actually do need to see it because it is happening. And it can honestly happen to anybody, you just never know. Hopefully, maybe, this is going to help other people to see. ‘Cause I’mma did tell you this. It did make me upset [to see her] struggle with the alcohol. That was one of [the] things [that] I struggled with. So, to see Wendy struggle with the alcohol and her substances over the years, it hurts.”
Blac Chyna also shared that since filming her scene with Wendy Williams for her documentary she has not spoken to her. She said, “I haven’t been in touch with Wendy. It’s very hard. I mean, you can see why though. I just gotta pop up. I gotta go to New York and go to her house.” When asked if she felt “concerned or relieved” when leaving Williams’, Chyna said, “No, [the] only thing I can do for Wendy is just say my prayers, that’s it.”
