RHOM star Lisa Hochstein is desperately waiting for the day she can officially be divorced from her estranged husband, Lenny Hochstein
Lisa Hochstein has been embroiled in a legal battle with her plastic surgeon ex since he filed for divorce in May 2022 after 12 years of marriage.
Now, the RHOM star tells Page Six that Lenny Hochstein is wearing her down financially by dragging out their pricey divorce which is costing her tens of thousands of dollars.
“It truly saddens me that Lenny has caused me to have to spend tens of thousands of dollars in attorney’s fees that should have been conserved for our children,” Lisa said referencing their two children, 8-year-old Logan and 4-year-old Elle.
“I don’t understand. He’s engaged,” she adds referring to Lenny’s fiancée, model Katharina Mazepa. “Doesn’t he want to get divorced?”
Lisa has also moved on with boyfriend Jody Glidden.
This all comes after Lenny hired his and Lisa’s former attorney, Lorne Berkeley, to represent him in their divorce. Berkeley previously worked for the now former RHOM couple in 2015 after they filed a lawsuit against an interior designer.
The 41-year-old Bravo star has filed legal documents arguing that Berkeley should be disqualified from representing Lenny as she previously worked for them both when they were married.
Lenny’s attorney fired back, calling Lisa’s filing a “sad attempt.”
However, Lisa’s lawyer, Jordan Davis Modavi tells Page Six that Lenny’s decision to hire Berkeley is another example of his “effort to further harm and oppress” his estranged wife.
Lisa has since decided to not fight Berkeley representing Lenny because she wants “nothing more than to end” their divorce battle and move on for the sake of their children.
The former RHOM couple were extremely close to finalizing their divorce las summer until Lenny withdrew the offer.
“This is just another example of Lenny doing everything possible to financially and emotionally suffocate Lisa instead of complying with the financial terms to which he previously agreed,” Modavi says
Yet Lenny insists that Lisa has “refused to sign the paperwork” because the Bravo star “needs to be the victim.”
“This should have all been done a long time ago but then couldn’t manufacture another false victim story,” he says.
Seems like this divorce may be another one of those long, drawn out legal battles.
