The final episode of Apartment 404, episode 8, arrived on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, April 12, 2024. The popular Korean variety show’s original cast has several renowned Korean celebrities, including Jennie of BLACKPINK, Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Jung Ha, Oh Na Ra, Yang Se Chan, and Cha Tae Hyun.
In Apartment 404 episode 8 (finale), the audience sees five original cast members and a guest cast member. In the place of Yang Se Chan, another well-known South Korean comedian, Jo Se Ho, also known as Cho Sae Ho, joined the other cast members.
They portray students who must solve a 2003 high school mystery case in South Korea. The new episode also sees a surprise guest appearance from TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s Yeonjun. Let’s find out how the episode unfolds below.

Episode 8 (finale) of Apartment 404 opens with a dramatized scene from the episode’s mystery case. In the scene, a high school girl tells Yeonjun she likes him. Meanwhile, another man watches them from a distance with a helmet. Then, the finale episode shows the six cast members, including five regular cast members and comedian Jo Se Ho, in Yang Se Chan’s place in school uniforms as transfer students.
Episode 8’s case centers around a mystery in a high school in 2003 South Korea. Like the previous episode, the mystery case is based on a real case. on their way to the school, the cast members meet Yeonjun. Soon after their meeting, Yeonjun runs after a high school girl, Si Eun, who has come to the school in a man’s bike.
The final episode of Apartment 404 shows that the cast members are split into two teams. One team has Jennie, Oh Na Ra and Yoo Jae Suk. The other team includes Lee Jung Ha, Cha Tae Hyun, and the guest cast member Jo Se Ho. Both teams play games to win clues and discover the high school’s mystery.
Through the clues, both teams realize that episode 8’s mystery case keyword is ‘Gangster’. They figure out that the high school mystery case involves a gangster gang. Soon, the two teams learn that Si Eun is the main scouter for a gangster group. She is scouting students from the high school for their gang, Yeonjun is one of the students who has been persuaded by Si Eun to join their gang.
After the two teams play the second game, they get more clues about the case. Through those clues, they discover two more scouters are helping Si Eun. They further learn that these two scouters are present among the cast. These two scouters collect the four other cast members’ fingerprints before a particular time. Then they have to give them to Si Eun. Meanwhile, the remaining cast members must stop them from completing their tasks to win the game.
Towards the end of Apartment 404, episode 8 (finale), viewers see that Oh Na Ra is one of the two scouters. The remaining cast figured it out. Thus, they must identify the other scouter to win the game successfully. However, at the end of the episode, the transfer students fail to identify the other scouter among them. Besides Oh Na Ra, the other scouter turns out to be Jennie. They successfully collect the fingerprints and hand them to Si Eun. Thus, Jennie and On Na Ra win the finale episode’s game.
