T.J. Holmes shares a confession about his extreme fear and frustration whenever his girlfriend Amy Robach travels without him. He ultimately explains, “I just don’t like being apart.”

During a recent episode of their podcast ‘Amy and T.J.,’ which the couple often uses to reflect on their trials as a couple, the former ‘Good Morning America 3‘ anchor admitted that he loses his mind whenever his former co-anchor-turned-lover leaves him to travel.
On the podcast episode released on Friday (April 12), Robach, 51, was telling Holmes, 46, that she was getting ready to travel without him for four days. Responding to the comment, he said, “I have said this to you plenty of times. I get not pissed [but] I get really frustrated when we are, not apart, but actually apart and traveling apart.”

Holmes continued to admit, “We have been through so much together. I always get anxiety, I get fear that [if] we’re not together, I’m not there with you, frankly, to protect you, to help you if anything goes on. I just don’t like being apart from you.”
He also shared that he feels anxious “that something is going to happen” to Robach once she is away from him. He added, “It is not a matter of missing you. I miss you when you go to the bathroom. I hate when we travel apart for long periods of time.”

As we’ve previously shared, T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach’s romance was put on front street back in November 2022 and it cost both of them their marriages and their jobs as co-anchors of ‘Good Morning America 3.’ In February, Holmes admitted that he knew in Spring 2022 that he was in love with Robach despite them both being married at the time.
A month before, they were given a compatibility test, conducted by OkCupid Global Communications Director Michael Kaye, who claimed the couple’s sexual preferences were in line with one another. Kaye explained, “You both enjoy sex more than foreplay. You’re both super into post-workout sex and shower sex.”

As mentioned, both were married with children as their romance was revealed to the public in late 2022. T.J. Holmes was married to ex-wife Marilee Fiebig, with whom he shares one child, 11-year-old daughter Sabine. He also shares a daughter Brianna and a son Jaiden with his first wife Amy Ferson.
Meanwhile, Amy Robach was married to ex-husband Andrew Shue, and also shares two daughters, Ava, 20, and Annalise, 17, with first ex-husband Tim McIntosh. In January, the T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach revealed that the process of combining their families was becoming easier, with Holmes noting that one of the “great joys over the past several months” was getting to see Sabine warm up to him and Robach dating.
