This past weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live was a great one, with Ryan Gosling acting as host, there to promote his upcoming action flick, Fall Guy, paying homage to his popular 2023 character Ken from Barbie, and welcoming lots of guest stars to the episode to make it even more fun.
Gosling playfully laughed throughout many of the show’s sketches, like the alien abduction segment which reunited him with Barbie co-star Kate McKinnon, but no other sketch had the whole cast laughing as hard as the one in which Gosling played a character sitting in the background of a news show interview, looking exactly like the cartoon character Beavis.
He is joined by Heidi Gardener as a news interviewer, who absolutely could not keep her composure, and Kenan Thompson as a distracted Professor.
Later in the sketch, Mikey Day plays a character who happens to be sat next to Gosling’s Beavis character, looking exactly like Butt-head. It was ridiculous and hilarious, and you have to see it to believe how well they did transforming these two actors.
