Former Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn is going through a very messy divorce from her estranged husband, Christian Richard. Now, court documents have been unearthed that show her request for full custody of the two-year-old son due to alleged child abuse. Plus, Christine alleges that Christian failed to pay medical bills for their son.
Christine and Christian got married in December 2019. The two share one son, also named Christian, but they are divorcing. Notably, he filed on April 5 of this year. This came after several allegations of abuse.
Now, Page Six has gained access to Christine’s most recent court filings. In them, the Selling Sunset alum makes some damning allegations against her ex.
According to the docs, Christian is alleged to have “perpetrated acts of domestic violence and child abuse against [her] son and [her].” Christine goes on to say in court documents, “I reported these acts of abuse to law enforcement because they were true and because I feared for our safety.”
This comes after the March 5 domestic dispute between the two that resulted in him being arrested. It is alleged that he attempted to throw a bag that contained glass at Christine. However, he allegedly missed her and hit their two-year-old son.
About the dispute, a public information officer had this to say, “The suspect threw a bag containing a glass bottle at the victim, missed the victim but hit the victim’s child, causing injury.” It has also been said that the child was treated for injuries at the hospital.
The same court filing also claims that Christian failed to handle “unpaid hospital bills related to the birth of the parties’ son, in an amount over $100,000.”
She says he previously said he would pay the debts, but he has since allowed them to be forwarded to collections. As a result, her credit has been “severely” impacted.
She also says in court documents that Christian recently said his mother had suffered a heart attack. Apparently, his mother didn’t have a heart attack, and Christine believes he used the made-up event as an attempt to manipulate her.
According to Christine, “She did not suffer a heart attack. his attempt to exploit a family member’s false medical condition is yet another attempt by Christian to manipulate me, my attorneys, and even his own attorneys.”
She continues, “I am extremely concerned that Christian will go to any lengths necessary, including great emotional manipulation, as a means to monitor my activity while the restraining order is in effect.”
Besides the alleged abuse, Christine is also seeking full custody of the son because she would like to take him to her home state of Texas without waiting for Christian’s approval. She also says he has a history of mental health issues that have impacted his interactions with her and their son.
Additionally, she wants him “restricted from any visits with [their] child due to the reasons set forth in [her] attached declaration.”
