Paramount released a new Knuckles video previewing many of the upcoming series’ cast, including star Idris Elba, who voices the titular character.

The new video is a behind-the-scenes sort of look at the main cast of the upcoming series, which includes brief interviews with Elba, Adam Pally, Scott Mescudi, Ellie Taylor, and more. Knuckles is set to premiere exclusively on Paramount+ on April 26, 2024.

Check out the new Knuckles video below:

What do we know about Knuckles?

“The spin-off will follow Knuckles on a hilarious and action-packed journey of self-discovery as he agrees to train Wade as his protégé and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior. The series takes place between the films Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog 3,” reads the synopsis.

Knuckles hails from head writer and executive producer John Whittington, with Sonic the Hedgehog director Jeff Fowler helming the pilot episode. The series stars Adam Pally (The Mindy Project), Edi Patterson (The Righteous Gemstones), Julian Barratt (Mindhorn), Scott Mescudi (Don’t Look Up), Ellie Taylor (Ted Lasso), Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride), Stockard Channing (Grease), Paul Scheer (Veep), and Rob Huebel (Childrens Hospital).

It is executive produced by Elba, Neal H. Moritz, Toby Ascher, and Toru Nakahara, with Paramount Pictures and Sega of America producing. In addition to the upcoming spin-off, Knuckles is expected to return in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 later this year on December 20.
