Symba is not taking his foot off the gas as he delivers a second freestyle just one week after the scathing surprise drop he gifted fans on his birthday.
Dropping by Power 106 Los Angeles’ LA Leakers show, the Bay Area artist got some things off his chest and referenced his “Control” freestyle from earlier in the week where he dissed J. Cole – and seemingly went in on Cole some more.
“That manifesting shit don’t give a mothafuck about you/You ain’t take no action, all that lying came back around and caught you/N-ggas butter soft, I make the winners out the loaf/All y’all n-ggas falling off, I’m a mothafuckin boss/N-ggas clocking in and clocking out, focus on your job/These n-ggas never come outside until it’s time to walk the dog!”
Symba appears to reference Cole’s long-awaited album The Fall Off, as well as his song “p u n c h i n ‘ . t h e . c l o c k” from The Off-Season and the Dreamville MC’s collab with Drake on For All The Dogs.
For his birthday last week, Symba unleashed the aforementioned Cole diss, which he delivered over Big Sean‘s “Control” beat.
The first few bars hear Symba take aim at the general state of Hip-Hop. But soon enough, the 25-year-old addresses J. Cole by name, revealing his thoughts on the apology the Dreamville boss issued just days after releasing his “7 Minute Drill” diss directed at Kendrick Lamar.

“Barbershop convos ’bout who sit at the top now/The Big 3 fucked up, Cole gave up his spot now/Can’t say you top five if you scared to be hostile/I remember feeling your pain when you let Nas down/But you done let Bas down and Cozz down/You done let the squad down!”
He continues: “Can’t say you the goat if you ain’t poppin ’em/We ain’t tryna hear all them apologies/Dot told you n-ggas that he usually homeboys with who he rhymin’ with/But this is Hip-Hop and you n-ggas should know what time it is.”
