Nneka Ihim is playing coy about her future on RHOP amid recent reports that she’s been fired ahead of season 9.
During an interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast, the RHOP newbie teased that her decision to participate in season 9 of the franchise has not been made yet.
“What I can say is, you guys should please follow me on socials because I do have some news and updates and very exciting things I’m going to be sharing in the coming days,” the 36-year-old said. “So just kick back and wait it out, but I do have some news I’m going to be sharing.”
“Well, I love champagne in general, so I always have a champagne flute handy,” said the bubbly enthusiast, who launched her own sparkling wine, Bido, in 2023.
“Not so much now because I’m trying to get pregnant, but I have one in view. I’m just looking at it, not drinking it,” she continued. “But I do love the show, I love the ladies, I’ve just enjoyed the sisterhood that I was able to create with all of the women on the show.”
Despite Nneka’s refusal to confirm or deny rumors she’s been fired, TheJasmineBRAND reports that the newbie has been let go from the hit Bravo show amid a rumored cast shake-up.
If the rumors are to be believed that means the RHOP cast is down THREE Housewives for season 9.
Robyn Dixon recently confirmed that she was fired from the franchise after 8 seasons while Candiace Dillard announced her exit from the franchise in late March after becoming pregnant with her first child.
With Robyn, Candiace, and possibly Nneka gone for season 9 the remaining RHOP cast would consist of Karen Huger, Gizelle Bryant, Mia Thornton, Ashley Darby, Wendy Osefo, and some new, fresh faces.
The Real Housewives of Potomac is expected to return for season 9 in early 2025.
