Jax Taylor addressed his falling out with Lisa Vanderpump – his former boss on Vanderpump Rules – and claims she “broke down” with him while she was “having issues” with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Jax also hinted that he and Lisa had a “conversation” about their issue on an upcoming episode of Jax’s new spinoff, The Valley.
“I had an issue [with Lisa] just because I felt like I’d given my life to Vanderpump Rules,” said Jax on the ‘Housewives Nightcap’ podcast via @breakingtherulespod on Instagram. “I’ve literally been an open book and I feel like Lisa and I were very very close.”
“I’ve gone to her home and … she’s broken down in front of me when she’s having issues on Housewives. I’ve broken down in front of her,” he went on. “I felt like we had a little bit of bond, kind of a mother-son thing.”
He explained that what “bothered [him] the most” was when he and his wife Brittany “didn’t get a phone call” after the birth of their son, Cruz.
“That bothered me to the core,” he said. “I could care less what people think of me. I … never have. But I know Brittany does, and it just felt like, you know, she came into … this world, the show, and gave everything she had and we have this baby and just not getting a phone call, you know, when we already try to reach out to her as much as we could.”
“That hurt me. So that’s where I had the issue,” he expressed. “That was my problem.”
But Jax hinted that he had a “conversation” with Lisa about it, which will air in an upcoming episode of his show.
Brittany – who revealed she was also bothered by Lisa’s lack of a phone call – claimed Lisa failed to reach out during their separation as well.
