RHOM star Alexia Nepola is reportedly reeling after her husband, Todd Nepola, filed for divorce on April 11. Get all the latest updates on this shocking Bravo split.
“Everyone is shocked. It’s very surprising,” a source tells Us Weekly. “Alexia loves hard. She is all about love, she is romantic in that respect. She is hurting right now.”
The 56-year-old loves “Todd and is devastated” by the split. “It all came as a shock,” the source says.
A second source says that Alexia was “blindsided” by Todd’s filing.
“Things were good between her and Todd days leading up [to] him filing. She had no idea and there were no signs,” the insider shares. “Alexia believes he wanted to keep her in the dark about how he was feeling about ending the marriage, because he knew she would try and convince him otherwise.”
The source adds that the RHOM star thinks the breakup “has a lot to do with her sons” and their family dynamic.

Although the split came as a surprise to most of the Bravoverse, Todd and Alexia’s relationship has had its fair share of controversy during season 6 of RHOM.
Alexia’s co-star Adriana de Moura alleged that the couple were experiencing financial problems which Alexia denied at the season 6 reunion.
Todd has also has made it known that he is uncomfortable in the reality TV spotlight.
As previously reported, Todd Nepola filed for divorce from Alexia Nepola on Thursday, April 11 in Miami-Dade County.
Per Distractify, Todd’s attorney Michael J. Alman is listed in the filing with Alexia named as the respondent in the case however her attorney is not named in the court documents.
In the filing, Todd claims his marriage to Alexia is “irretrievably broken.” The court filing also reveals that the estranged couple signed a prenuptial agreement on December 10, 2021 — six days before they tied the knot on December 16.
However, the details of their prenup remain confidential.
Just hours after the news broke that Todd filed for divorce, Alexia broke her silence on the devastating news.
On Instagram the RHOM shared that she was “shocked and heartbroken.”
“I am shocked and heartbroken that Todd has chosen to dissolve our marriage,” the 56-year-old Real Housewives of Miami star wrote on her Instagram Story Monday night.
“I will take comfort in the fact that my friends and family will be by my side supporting me during his difficult time,” she continued.
This is the Real Housewives of Miami OG’s third marriage.
The Real Housewives of Miami is expected to return to Bravo in early 2025.
