Kim Kardashian used her own breasts in order to build the prototype for her trending and best-selling SKIMS Nipple Push-Up Bra, which features “built-in raised nipples for a perky, braless look that makes a bold statement.” The unique bra comes in six different colorways and retails for $64.

During Monday’s episode (April 22) of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!,’ Kim Kardashian told the late-night host that her own breasts helped create the mold for her shapewear line’s unique bra. While holding up a photo of the 42-year-old ‘Kardashians‘ star modeling the perky bra, Kimmel called the SKIMS design “genius” and said Kardashian “invented the bra with built-in nipples.”
Kardashian continued to tell the late-night host that it was her idea to “put the nipples” in the bra. She went on to reveal that the bra’s design was “actually molded after” her actual breasts. Kimmel questioned, “Your own boobs?,” to which Kardashian responded, “It’s a pad, yeah. It’s a pad with a nipple on it. So if you wanted to feel nippy.”

Kimmel continued to ask Kardashian that if she “saw a woman walking around with this on,” would she say, “Oh, those are my boobs!” The SKIMS founder replied, “I would, actually.” She then shared a story about her 39-year-old sister, Khloé Kardashian.
She said her sister was wearing one of the SKIMS Nipple Push-Up Bras and their other sister Kourtney Kardashian‘s ex-boyfriend and children’s father, Scott Disick, “made a comment” about the bra being “inappropriate.” Kardashian recalled her sister Khloé saying, “She was like, ‘Oh, no. They’re not mine. They’re Kim’s.”

Now, Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS Nipple Push-Up Bra isn’t the first product for which the reality star and entrepreneur has used her body as inspiration. For Kardashian’s now-defunct KKW Body perfume, she used her own figure to model the bottle after.
Also in her interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Kim Kardashian teased a potential new release from her SKIMS shapewear line. She revealed that she felt “insecure” wearing the SKIMS Nipple Push-Up Bra to a meeting, so she might “make one with like, a half nip … like, not as hard.”
