Tower of God chapter 620 recap: Enkidu loses control
Chapter 620 of Tower of God started with a disguised Enkidu leading Ameuz away from the banquet hall on the crane. Ameuz was shocked by his decision to put the transportation device on the island but thought nothing of it. Upon arriving at the island, they were greeted by Traumerei, who came out of the building. He asked Ameuz why she left without saying goodbye and proposed that she return with him.
He then told her their journey up the tower had ended that day. However, Ameuz couldn’t accept that, as she planned to open the door again. Traumerei pleaded with her not to betray Zahard and the rest of them and reminded her of the hypocrisy of their followers, who had turned to critics when the door closed. Ameuz told him she would never forgive those people. However, she thought the same about them now. Ameuz told him the whole point of joining him, and Zahard was to reach the top in the first place.
She shared that she would climb the tower even if it meant going against Zahard and the others. Her words hurt Traumerei deeply as he reminded her of her promise to stay with him forever. His words made her cry, and she told him she couldn’t see him like this anymore and finally asked for them to separate.
Meanwhile, Enkidu stood behind them, watching everything unfold, and got annoyed at Ameuz’s words. Despite not knowing the whole story, he knew that Traumerei loved her, and that didn’t change, but she did. Before leaving, she asked Enkidu to take care of Traumerie and walked away, but in a blind rage, Enkidu cleaved her with his blade. Tower of God chapter 620 ended with Traumerei stunned by Enkidu’s actions.
