Fans of The Bachelor can expect to see a familiar face on Southern Charm season 10 when it premieres.
That’s because Salley Carson, who famously left the show early on, is joining the cast. Not only is she joining the show, but she also happens to be a native of South Carolina and recently bought her first home there.
Fans will recall that Salley was a contestant on season 10 of The Bachelor, which was Clayton Echard‘s season. However, she decided to go home because she was supposed to get married that same weekend before she called off her engagement. Clayton even offered her a rose to stay, but she turned it down. Additionally, Salley had a short run on Bachelor In Paradise before being sent home.
Now, PEOPLE is exclusively reporting that Salley has signed on to appear on season 10 of Southern Charm. Notably, she has also appeared on Bravo’s Southern Hospitality. This move makes sense because, as mentioned, she moved back to South Carolina in 2022.
She set up roots in the southern state by buying her first home earlier this year, which she documented by posting on Instagram with the caption, “Officially a Charleston homeowner!!! A BIG thank you to @laurenskoogrealtor for finding me this BEAUTIFUL home and making the process so simple. Who wants to come to my pool!!!??”
It’s unclear how Salley will fit in with the cast, but she’s sure to make for great TV.
Fans of Southern Hospitality will recall that she became close with Joe Bradley and was supposed to go on a date with him. However, things went south when it came out that she lied about kissing someone else before the date. Of course, being on Southern Charm will be a lot different than being on a competition reality show. Based on rumors, there may be several exits and a few returning faces to the show for season 10.
Fans can catch up on the show by streaming it on Peacock. They can get to know Salley by watching her short stints on The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise on Hulu.
