What Is ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ About?

Fans of Jaideep Ahlawat’s The Broken News have been eagerly awaiting the return of their favorite newsroom drama, and the wait is finally over! After two years, the highly anticipated second season of the show is gearing up to premiere on ZEE5, promising more drama, intrigue, and intense storytelling.

Jaideep Ahlawat’s The Broken News season 2 is releasing soon on ZEE5

The trailer for the upcoming season was released on April 16, 2024, and it has already piqued the viewers’ excitement. Featuring powerhouse performances from Sonali Bendre, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Shriya Pilgaonkar, the trailer gives a glimpse into the gripping storyline that awaits audiences.

For those wondering when they can catch the new season, mark your calendars for Friday, May 3, 2024, when The Broken News Season 2 will be available to stream on ZEE5.

Speaking about the new season, Sonali Bendre expressed her excitement about the series. She shared, “The Broken News will always be special to me as it marked my OTT debut. We truly were ecstatic with the response to the first season, and I am glad we are returning for another season.”

The trailer showcases an intense showdown between the characters. Shriya Pilgaonkar’s Radha Bhargava vows to confront Dipankar Sanyal, played by Jaideep Ahlawat after he defames her on national television. As the trailer unfolds, viewers are drawn into a world where truth battles sensationalism. Furthermore, the characters grapple with their moral compasses in pursuing news.

Jaideep Ahlawat, who plays the morally ambiguous Dipankar Sanyal, sheds light on the character’s motivations. Coming from a humble background, Sanyal’s journey from honest journalism to sensationalism reflects a larger story of media ethics and personal ambition. He explained, “When he became their voice through honest journalism, he didn’t get his due. So, when he got the opportunity to play the game, he switched to sensationalism. We have seen such examples around us.”

As the countdown to May 3 begins, fans can expect The Broken News season 2 to deliver another thrilling chapter in the world of newsroom drama.
