Craig Conover Admits He’d Resent Paige Over Issue of Kids

Summer House stars Craig Conover, 35, and Paige DeSorbo, 31, make up one of the most talked about couples on the Bravo network. Fans have watched the two have very difficult conversations over the years. Now is no different as Craig admits to Paige that he might have some harsh feelings if they don’t have kids soon. Plus, Paige provides an update on her friendship with Danielle Olivera, 35, after their recent drama. 

One bit of contention has been the two of them getting engaged. For a time, Craig said he wanted to wait, and Paige has had the same sentiments. Fans will recall that Paige has even been looking for apartments for herself in New York. However, it seems Craig might be changing his mind about wanting to get engaged as he gets older.

Now, in a newly released clip from Bravo, Paige is seen opening up to Craig about how she appreciates him for his patience. She says, “Sometimes I don’t feel like I show that I appreciate you enough and that I love you because I feel like I also throw a lot of things at you. Last year, I was like, ‘Oh, I don’t want to get engaged yet. I don’t want to move.’ Some guys would be like ‘Okay, see ya.’ You kind of roll with whatever I throw at you.”

However, Craig then tells Paige that despite being understanding, he wants to start a family, and he shares that he might resent her if that doesn’t happen soon. He says, “I would say that, recently, you know, with my business taking off and you talking about looking for new apartments, sometimes in my head, I’m like, ‘Yeah, I’m cool with this whole let’s wait a little bit to get married thing.’ But there are also some benefits to not waiting too long.”

Craig then admits that he wants to have kids by the time he turns 40. 

“I’m 35. I would like to have my first child by 40. I would start to have some resentment if I didn’t.”

He then says he doesn’t want to reach that milestone and get stuck having to find love again because he didn’t trust his instincts.

“I’d be like, ‘Now I’m 40 years old, and now I have to go, like, fall in love again and find a partner. You knew it, Craig. You knew it, and your gut told you.”

However, Paige shares that she “is not in a place” to figure out life with a child. 

She says, “I’m not even in a place yet to even pick where I would potentially want to live and raise children. These are all questions that I have no idea the answer to, but I know it’s with you.”

She expands in a confessional by saying, “I feel like Craig so knows what the next step in his life is, and for the first time in my life, I don’t know what my next step is. Being married and being a mother, I’m not ready for that yet. So I’m putting a band-aid on things because I don’t want to deal with it until I can figure out what the f-ck is going on in my life.”

In other Summer House news, Paige recently gave an update on where she stands with Danielle. She said to US Weekly, “Danielle is Danielle. I think [we] stand in the same spot, like always. ”

She continues, “She says some things and I say some things back and at the end of the day, we’ll crack a Loverboy about it [and move on].”

Fans will recall that the two were at odds after Danielle questioned Paige’s love for Craig.
