IT’S ALL HAPPENING – FINALLY!
On the April 30th episode of Watch What Happens Live, Vanderpump Rules stars Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix confirmed that their sandwhich shop, Something About Her, will be opening its doors very soon.
“Everyone’s been asking! They want sandwich shop updates, so we finally have the update,” Katie explained of their Los Angeles bistro.
“We have a date,” the Vanderpump Rules co-stars both confirmed.
“Something About Her will be opening on…” Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen said as Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney responded in unison, “May 22!”
The duo first announced their plans to open their sandwhich shop Something About Her in 2022.
Throughout season 11 of Vanderpump Rules, Katie and Ariana have been giving fans updates on their eatery, which has remained unopened due to permitting issues.
Before this week’s announcement on WWHL, Katie told E! News that Something About Her was “dangerously close” to opening.
“I know it’s been a really long time coming and that’s felt by everyone that asks me that question,” the 37-year-old told the outlet. “But, I mean, if we could’ve opened six months ago plus, we absolutely would’ve. But it’s been completely out of our hands.”
“We’re hiring right now and will be training very soon and it’s right around the corner. I don’t want to share a date but very, very soon,” Katie continued, noting that both she and Ariana are “so excited.”
Production for season 12 of Vanderpump Rules has been put on pause for the summer.
