In a legal battle that seems to be getting messier by the day, rapper Jeezy is sure not holding back when it comes to defending himself against his estranged wife, Jeannie Mai .
In court documents recently obtained by TMZ, Jeezy notes that he’s convinced Jeannie is out for revenge simply because he didn’t want to have a second child with her.
Now, as previously reported, Jeannie dropped some bombshell claims last week, accusing Jeezy of not only being reckless but also abusive. She alleged physical violence on at least one occasion. He said in a statement,
“The allegations are not only false, but also deeply disturbing, especially coming from someone I loved,” the 46-year-old said. “This malicious attempt to tarnish my character and disrupt my family is ridiculous.”
The statement continued: “It’s disheartening to witness the manipulation and deceit at play and at this time my main concern is being an active father to our daughter as I continue to fight for court mandated joint custody. Rest assured, the truth will prevail through the proper legal channels.”
Despite that, Jeezy is clearly not backing down. He has since vehemently denied these allegations, just as he did when they were first brought up. In fact, he poses an interesting question in his defense – if he is truly dangerous and abusive, why was Jeannie trying to have another baby with him? Whew!
To further prove his point, Jeezy claims Jeannie was simply desperate to grow their family of three. Though, when he expressed his hesitation, things went completely downhill. Jeezy claims that Jeannie couldn’t handle his decision and allegedly took matters into her own hands. He suggests that she allegedly sought out IVF specialists in an attempt to conceive, despite his disapproval. Jeezy even goes as far as claiming that she may have spent thousands of dollars on the process.

But the drama doesn’t end there. Jeezy further asserts that Jeannie is the one who’s hot headed. He insinuating that she is accustomed to partners who are more submissive and further accuses Jeannie of withholding parenting time with their young daughter, stating that he only saw her for one day/night in April.
As this divorce case unfolds, it seems like no stone is being left unturned.
Jeannie’s camp has not yet responded to these latest claims.
