Adele’s Relationship With Rich Paul Reportedly ‘Solid’ As She Turns 36

Adele, now 36, is celebrating her flourishing career, romance with sports agent Rich Paul, and role as a devoted mother. According to a report, the singer and Pail have a “solid” relationship and “inspire each other.”

In candid interviews, she praised Paul’s humor and intelligence while emphasizing that she knows what she wants in a partner. Despite recent show postponements due to health reasons, Adele remains committed to her Las Vegas residency.

According to sources who spoke to People magazine, Adele, who celebrated her 36th birthday on Sunday, May 5, is reveling in her flourishing career, her romance with her partner Paul, and her role as a devoted mother to her 11-year-old son, Angelo

Insiders described Adele’s relationship with Paul, a sports agent renowned for his clientele, including LeBron James, as “solid.”

“They help each other and are good partners,” the source revealed, adding that Adele “loves being with” Paul.

Another source echoed the sentiment: “Adele has been happy and enjoys her life as a parent and her time spent with Rich.”

Offering insight into their dynamic, the insiders noted that Adele and Paul “like to laugh, and they inspire each other.”

Leading up to her 36th birthday milestone, Adele unveiled fresh dates for her Weekends with Adele residency in Las Vegas. This decision follows a previous delay of several shows in late February.

While addressing the postponements of her popular residency, the 16-time Grammy Award winner reassured her devoted fans that the postponements were solely under the doctor’s advisement.

She explained the situation on social media, noting that she “was sick at the end of the last leg and all the way through my break,” highlighting that she “hadn’t quite gotten the chance to get back to full health before shows resumed.”

“It’s all taken a toll on my voice,” Adele added. A source close to the singer also told People magazine: “Adele loves to perform and loves her audiences, and that she is happy with her residency.”

Since they went public with their relationship, Adele and Paul have been spotted out together at various events. The couple also tend to appear together at basketball games.

Last month, on April 27, they were spotted courtside, sharing intimate moments during the Lakers vs. Denver Nuggets game at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

In November 2023, amid swirling marriage rumors, a source shared with the outlet that the “Set Fire To The Rain” singer is ecstatically happy with Paul and has never been more “buoyant.”

“We all want to be as happy as Adele,” the source added, per People.

Adele also fueled speculations about her marital status when she affectionately referred to Paul as her “husband” during one of her Las Vegas residency performances in September.

Additionally, two audience members purportedly disclosed her confirmation of a marriage at Alan Carr’s Los Angeles comedy show last year to the anonymous celebrity gossip account Deuxmoi.

During candid interviews with British Vogue for its November 2021 cover stories, Adele offered glimpses into her relationship with Paul.

“Rich just incredibly arrived,” she shared about her partner. “I don’t feel anxious or nervous or frazzled. It’s quite the opposite. It’s wild.”

Reflecting on their initial encounter at a party a few years prior, she recounted a lighthearted moment when, in her own words, “a bit drunk,” she jokingly said to him, “Do you want to sign me? I’m an athlete now.”

Describing Paul’s qualities, she said: “He’s great. He’s so f–ing funny. He’s so smart, you know.”

During one of her Vegas performances, Adele shared her journey of being alcohol-free for three and a half months. 

The “When We Were Young” crooner confessed to having been “borderline alcoholic” in her 20s and expressed that her newfound sobriety feels somewhat dull, as she admitted missing alcohol.

The 35-year-old singer also mentioned giving up caffeine, adding, “I stopped drinking maybe like three and a half months ago. It’s boring. I mean, I was literally borderline alcoholic for quite a lot of my twenties, but I miss it so much. I cut out caffeine.”

In a conversation with a fan who was enjoying a drink, she playfully said, per Daily Mail, “So enjoy your whiskey sour. I’m very, very jealous.”
