Bethenny Frankel and her fiancé, Paul Bernon, have reportedly ended their relationship after six years together.
“It just wasn’t going to work,” a mutual friend of the now former couple told Us Weekly.
“They are so different – he’s an under the radar kind of guy,” the source said.
The source reveals that Bethenny Frankel and Paul Bernon called it quits two months ago.
In recent weeks, the Real Housewives of New York alum has sparked confusion about her realtionship status after she was spotted wearing her massive engagement ring on TikTok. Fans also noticed that Paul hadn’t been seen on her social media since last March.
“She still has the ring,” the source noted.
Bethenny Frankel and Paul Bernon began dating in October 2018 after meeting him on a dating app.
“I was pretty lucky when I walked in and saw him,” the Skinnygirl mogul told People in April 2021. “He had a twinkle. He came as advertised — better than advertised. He overshot the mark.”
After one year together the couple moved in together and were searching for a home to buy together.
“They live together in the Back Bay area [in Boston] now,” an insider shared in September 2019. “She has been spending a lot more time up there. They are house-hunting in the New England area.”
In October 2020, Bethenny and Paul split breifly before reconciling in Januar 2021.
Following their reconcilation, the two became engaged in March 2021.
“I’m very excited, and it’s really wonderful,” the Bravoleb shared with Extra at the time before noting that Paul is such a “good partner.”
In July 2023, fans speculated that Bethenny and Paul had split again but the RHONY OG insisted they were still together. She noted that the two had no plans to wed anytime soon.
“I don’t want to build a wedding,” she said on E! News in July 2023. “I love my life. I love my fiancé. He’s an amazing life partner and I don’t want to sign a contract with someone I love. I don’t want to plan a massive wedding for everybody else and not [do] what we want. I like doing what you want, not what society wants you to do.”
Bethenny Frankel was previously married to Jason Hoppy from 2010-2012 however they did not finalize their divorce until January 2021. They share daughter Bryn, 13, together.
RHONY will return to Bravo for season 15 in late 2024.
