In his latest social media update, Tyrese shared a melancholy video of himself. He looked somber, as though ready to break down in tears while vibing to emotional music in the background.
The “Fast & Furious” star matched the sad theme with a black hoodie, repeatedly shaking his head and holding a hand to his chest. In summary, he gave a compelling display of emotional distress, which seemed to be the problem per his Instagram caption.
“I’m in a dark place, and I hope and pray [prayer hands emoji] I don’t stay in this place for long,” Tyrese lamented in the video’s overlay text before diving deeper into his mental health and why he looked depressed.

The TV Personality Feels ‘Drained’ & ‘Discouraged’
The actor doubled down on being at his lowest in his lengthy message, writing, “I’m in a very bad place….. I’m officially there drained, out of it, and no one to turn to….. I am a believer in God, but I am discouraged and feel like I’ve hit a wall..” He continued:
“I’m in a bad place… I’m always there for everyone on ALL fronts. I’ve hit a wall, and I really don’t know what to do. Jesus, I need you now more than ever. Mother’s Day is coming up, and my heart is heavy, and I’m feeling that too, but sh-t seemed to be paused on [ all ] fronts.”
Tyrese stressed that he was profoundly resonating with his emotional struggles and implored fans to take his post seriously before sharing the reasons behind his distress. Naturally, Norma took the top spot with the actor ranting:

Norma Mitchell Isn’t The Only Ex-wife Causing Tyrese’s Emotional Turmoil
Tyrese noted that Norma wasn’t his only legal problem, with his second ex-wife causing additional court battles. He explained that his divorce from Samantha Lee hadn’t been finalized despite them having a prenuptial agreement.
The singer-turned-actor claimed he had lost over a million dollars because the case dragged on for four years. “It’s now being appealed, and the process is taking forever,” he continued, adding:
“The judge on the case, Judge Kevin M Farmer, still has some of my court documents [ sealed ] and refuses to UNSEAL them…”
The next issue on Tyrese’s list was his latest album, “BEAUTIFUL PAIN,” which allegedly drained him emotionally and financially as an independent artist.

Last month, The Blast reported that Tyrese had aired his legal problem with Norma in a heated Instagram post. He shared a screenshot of a court filing with his ex-wife’s name alongside a rant about her alleged crimes.
“I’m finally addressing because I have to… I’ve read your comments, so here’s my response,” Tyrese began his caption, adding, “The days of me suffering in silence and living in fear are over…. 167 pages filed in the Los Angeles courthouse 111 Hill Street…”
The actor stressed that his documents held “no lies and no goofy s-it… Everything in these court docs has real receipts attached.” He also accused Norma of committing “blackmail, extortion, defamation, death threats, tax evasion,” and multiple acts of forgery.
