Another RHOBH marriage is over! Dorit Kemsley has announced her separation from husband, Paul ‘PK’ Kemsley amid rumors about the status of their marriage.
On Thursday, Dorit Kemsley took to Instagram to address the speculation about her marriage to husband, Paul ‘PK’ Kemsley.
In the post, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star announced that she and PK were taking some time apart to amid their ongoing marital woes.
On Instagram, Dorit wrote:
“We as a couple have been subject to a lot of specualtion about our marriage. We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together.
To safe guard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutal and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children.
We appreciate your love and support while we continue to do the work necessary throughout this journey.
With love, Dorit and PK.”
Throughout season 13 of RHOBH, fans saw Dorit Kemsley and PK Kemsley deal with some hiccups in their marriage. It’s was obvious to viewers that the couple were not on the same page as they once were. In fact, during the season 13 finale, Dorit expressed her concerns about the future of their marriage.
“I love my husband, but I just hope eventually, something can change because I have moments where I worry, will we be able to stay together? No matter how hard I try, it feels like he’s never gonna take me seriously and be as present as I need him to be when I need him, and maybe he’ll never change, but do I have to accept that he won’t? Can I? I don’t know,” Dorit said in her confessional during the RHOBH season 13 finale episode.
As Bravo fans may recall, Dorit and PK Kemsley butted heads during season 13 over the 48-year-old’s PTSD following a tarrying home invasion where she was held at gunpoint. PK failed to understand the depths of Dorit’s PTSD and felt some of the symptoms were “obnoxious.”
Furthermore, PK Kemsley dubbed his wife “high maintenance,” while Dorit admitted that PK had become “mean” and “more harsh” in recent years.
However, at the RHOBH season 13 reunion, earlier this year, Dorit insisted that she and PK were “better than ever.”
“PK was drinking a lot — and he’s a drinker — [but] I just think it’s difficult to have clear-headed conversations when he’s drinking so much. So, he gave up drinking,” Dorit revealed. “He’s actually been sober for, I think, 49 days. That was a very pivotal moment so things are, knock on wood, as good as they can possibly be.”
Since October 2023, PK and Dorit have been plagued by gossip about their marriage. At the time outlets reported that they were “living separate lives” after eight years of marriage.
The RHOBH couple have continuously denied the gossip. Instead Bravolebs insisted that they “remain committed” to each other amid “challenging years” in their marriage.
Dorit Kemsley and PK have been married since 2015 and share two children. They joined RHOBH in 2016 during season 7.
