Embark on a sonic voyage through the realms of sci-fi and cyberpunk with Extra Terra’s latest album, Accelerate or Die.

Fusing elements of bass music with haunting melodies and eerie ambiances, Extra Terra’s visionary sound palette has been transporting listeners to the distant future for some time now, and Accelerate or Die is no exception. The French artist has amassed 100 million collective streams to date, with the new album marking his fifth full-length addition to his expansive discography.

Drawing inspiration from the philosophical underpinnings of “effective accelerationism,” which stands for unrestricted technological progress as a solution to widespread human problems, Accelerate or Die is a masterclass in cyberpunk-inspired electro and bass music.

From the pulsating techno sensibilities of “Feel the AGI,” “Alternate Universe” and “Back From The Future” to the mesmerizing ambiances of “Entropy Club” and “Doomers,” Accelerate or Die is a strong testament to Extra Terra’s mastery of sound design and composition. Additional highlights include the cinematic and progressive “The Singularity Is Nearer” and the gritty basslines of “Judgement Time” alongside Castroe, which arguably makes for one of the project’s most face-melting tracks.

Having collaborated with renowned labels such as Monstercat, Tribal Trap and FiXT Music as well as been enlisted to remix tracks from the likes of Infected Mushroom and Celldweller, Extra Terra is solidifying his place as one to watch within dance music. Accelerate or Die is one of his strongest releases to date. Take a listen below.
