“Alert: Missing Persons Unit” will remain on the beat, as Fox has officially renewed the procedural for its third season. The number of episodes for the upcoming season has yet to be announced.
This renewal announcement arrives just four days before the Season 2 finale of “Alert: MPU,” scheduled to air on Tuesday, May 14, at 9/8c.
Among the 24 entertainment programs aired by Fox this TV season, “Alert: MPU” ranks sixth in viewership. However, it outperforms only “Cleaning Lady,” “So You Think You Can Dance,” “TMZ Investigates,” “Grimsburg,” and “The Great North” in demographic numbers.
