Emily Ratajkowski is likely getting tired of the hateful comments on her Instagram, ones that began before her 2024 Met Gala appearance last week and have only continued since. The supermodel, 32, appears to have launched a wave of hypocrisy-centric comments as fans slam her scantily-clad photos, with the drama largely stemming from Emily’s identity as a feminist. The pattern now seems to be that the more she strips down, the more she is slammed. In February, Emily updated her account with lingerie snaps before showing she’d cut her own hair in a topless shower photo. Unsurprisingly, this offered plenty of ammo for the haters, who also likened her to an “ostrich.”

Snapping home selfies as she showed off her ample cleavage and plump pout, Emily sizzled in a soft-cupped, black bra that more than highlighted her killer curves. Sending fans a deep gaze as she posed by a sun-filled window, the swimwear designer showed off her long hair and slight bangs finish, also reminding the ‘Gram of her model features as she showcased that chiseled jawline for two similar photos.

The third slide likely stopped fans in their tracks as Emily ditched the bra, only just about protecting her modesty with one hand as she showed her freshly cut hair while fully topless.

In a caption referencing the haircut, EmRata wrote: “Swear i’m not going through anything i just needed a cut.”

The comments are brutal. “You just needed “attention,” one fan said as over 1,000 others liked the comment. “Lips look ridiculous,” another said, with a third fan asking what was “wrong” with Emily’s “lips.”

While many more such remarks came in, some defended the “Blurred Lines” star, pointing out that she’s always had a full pout. “Look at her teenage photos lol in 16 yo she had the same lips,” one such comment read. Bizarrely, one fan even said that Emily looks like an “ostrich,” with this comment gaining 41 likes. As to the nudity, fans did appear tired. “Yeah, I always show off my haircuts with my [bare chest] in the frame,” one sarcastically wrote.

Shortly before the Met Gala, Emily posted these skimpy snaps as she posed in only thong underwear and an open robe from her bathroom. Fans, who are well aware of the My Body author’s stances on feminism, called her a hypocrite. “But I’m not a sex symbol,” one said. “Talks about being objectified but is always naked in her undies lol make it make sense,” another wrote.

The post didn’t just garner hate, though, as many called the London-born star “beautiful,” with a few celebrity faces also sending love. Likes came in from fellow model Kaia Gerber, plus supermodel Heidi Klum.

Emily made sure to mark the 2024 Met Gala on Instagram, sharing this post as she showed off her cream-colored, woven sheer dress that, in front-facing photos, showed plenty of chest. The model chose vintage Versace for her glam night.
