Cara Delevingne’s $7M Mansion Is Being Demolished After Massive Fire Incident

After a fire ravaged Cara Delevingne’s Los Angeles mansion, a demolition of the $7 million property has reportedly begun. Speculation about the fire’s cause abounds, with electrical issues suspected.

When the news of the massive house fire first made headlines, Cara took to Instagram to express her fears over the safety of her pets. Fortunately for the actress, they were rescued from the inferno.

Cara has begun the process of clearing away the remnants of her $7 million Los Angeles mansion, which succumbed to a devastating fire in March.

According to the DailyMail, bulldozers were deployed to the site, where, despite the destruction, the pool remained unaffected, still brimming with water, and has been cordoned off in anticipation of further developments.

At the time of the fire, Cara was away in London for her debut in “Cabaret.” It took the efforts of 94 firefighters and 13 engines over nearly two hours to contain the fire fully.

Initially fearing the loss of her beloved pets during the inferno, the supermodel took to Instagram to share their photos, writing: “My heart is broken today. I cannot believe it. Life can change in a blink of an eye. So cherish what you have.”

The 31-year-old later rejoiced after firefighters rescued them, writing: “They are alive!! Thank you to the firefighters.”

In a statement, the Los Angeles Fire Department disclosed that they received an urgent call at approximately 3:57 a.m. reporting an inferno at the $7 million L.A. home.

Upon arrival, the firefighters were met with a “heavy fire” scene. One room was entirely consumed by the blaze, which “developed into a deep-seated attic fire,” and it took a team of 94 firefighters over two hours to quell the flames.

“Crews confirmed all occupants were out of the home, and then pulled back into defensive mode due to the long duration of heavy fire exposing the structural members,” the LAFD’s statement read.

Following the harrowing ordeal, reports confirmed that the roof of Cara’s residence had collapsed, yet miraculously, no severe injuries were reported.

However, an LAFD spokesperson revealed, “One firefighter was transported to the hospital due to an injury, and one occupant suffered minor smoke inhalation.”

Pandora Delevingne, Cara’s mother, talked about her daughter’s profound distress in the wake of the fire, lamenting: “She had everything in her house, her whole life. She built it, she made it. She has everything in it.”

Cara’s father, Charles Delevingne, also speculated that the fire was due to electrical issues, citing “very windy” weather conditions.

However, despite extensive investigation, the Los Angeles Fire Department deemed the cause “undetermined,” ruling out foul play following scrutiny by the arson squad.

Cara purchased the sprawling 8,000-square-foot mansion for $7 million in 2019. During a tour of her home on Architectural Digest in 2021, she provided a glimpse into her eclectic design style, inspired by “Alice in Wonderland.”

The interior boasted distinctive elements such as Gucci wallpaper, a whimsical ball pit, and a unique space referred to as the “pink p-ssy palace,” complete with a tunnel resembling the vagina.

After a recent interview on the Met Gala red carpet alongside Ed Sheeran and Stella McCartney, Cara was criticized for her appearance, with an online troll even suggesting that the model was on drugs.

The individual commented under a video shared by E! News: “They’re saving her from ruining the interview because she’s so coked up they had to intervene.”

The “American Horror Story” actress addressed the comment directly and affirmed her sobriety, writing, “Been clear for nearly two years!! Thanks for the support.” Her response came after she revealed seeking rehab following distressing images of her at an airport that surfaced online.

Reflecting on her journey during an interview with Vogue, the “Suicide Squad” actress admitted to avoiding therapy for three years and pushing away loved ones.

“I’ve had interventions of a sort, but I wasn’t ready. That’s the problem,” Cara said. “I hadn’t seen a therapist in three years. I just kind of pushed everyone away, which made me realize how much I was in a bad place.”

Speaking to Variety at the Met Gala on May 6, Cara, who has maintained sobriety since 2022, offered words of encouragement for those navigating their journeys.

“You’re not alone,” she emphasized. “If I can do it, anyone can. But you need to communicate and be honest about it as much as you can—especially with yourself.”

The supermodel stressed the significance of being vocal about struggles, noting: “Whether it’s been being vocal about anxiety, depression, recovery, or anything, you owe it to people to talk about your struggles because being in this world is not perfect.”

“No one is perfect. So, to be honest, it’s the least I can do,” Cara added.
