Known around the nation as a mecca for all things queer, the city of West Hollywood, California is gearing up to celebrate the 2024 pride season with the return of its annual Outloud Music Festival.
Set to take place June 1st and 2nd, the event will be the focal point of the city’s pride festivities, which includes the Street Fair, Pride Parade (with Lifetime Ally Icon Cyndi Lauper), Dyke March and Women’s Freedom Festival.
Situated inside West Hollywood Park, Outloud moonlights as an electronic dance music spectacular with many star DJs and artists performing throughout the weekend. Headlining the event are Diplo, Janelle Monáe and dance-pop icon Kylie Minogue. The electronic roster for the main event series also includes Channel Tres, Yaeji and a DJ set by RuPaul’s Drag Race superstar Trixie Mattel.
If that wasn’t enough, dance music is taking center stage at the festival’s sun-soaked party, SUMMERTRAMP. The steamy LA staple, located within the festival grounds, will feature DJ sets from Purple Disco Machine and Hot Chip. Additional notable acts include EDM.com Class of 2022 alumni Kaleena Zanders and house music icon Crystal Waters, among others.

Organizers are also offering a free Friday night kickoff party featuring performances by Kesha and Adam Lambert to those who register ahead of time.
