Insomniac is once again raising the bar of electronic dance music festivals by virtue of EDC Las Vegas, where in 2024 a number of new art installations and upgrades will debut, according to a media alert shared with EDM.com.

The beloved Pixel Forest activation is expanding, receiving a renovation while also increasing in size. What was already a grand, immersive experience will now be able to accommodate more guests and allow them to get even more lost in the digital oasis.  Elsewhere, Nomads Land, a whimsical hub “where art meets technology and nomads wander into the unknown,” will feature more architecture and performers this year.

Insomniac is also welcoming the cannabis brand STIIIZY for their own activation as well as the “Hiyo House” where Camp EDC attendees will be able to relax and participate in various wellness activities while sipping on non-alcoholic beverages.

Meanwhile, Downtown EDC will see plenty of changes of its own, including a relocation to the center of the festival to become more accessible for attendees. The “Kandi Kasino” and “Queen Drag Bar” pop-ups will both return in addition to “Up to Date” and the various chapels EDC offers for marriage ceremonies.

New additions to Downtown EDC include Good Times and the YeeDC Saloon. The former will function as EDC’s first-ever 70s-themed disco party while the latter will be a fusion of country and electronic music.

Finally, Insomniac will be making slight upgrades to each stage, such as they do every year. Most notably, kineticFIELD will be adapted to fit this year’s theme at EDC, #kineticCIRCLE, which Insomniac says will “celebrate the profound impact circles have on our lives – circles of time, circles of trust, and circles of community.”

EDC Las Vegas is scheduled for May 17-19 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This year’s lineup features Martin Garrix, Eric Prydz, Zedd, Alison Wonderland, Kaskade, John Summit, Dom Dolla, deadmau5, Alesso, Armin van Buuren, ILLENIUM, David Guetta and many more. Tickets and more information can be found here.
