Disturbing footage shows the moment a murder took place in broad daylight. According to @abc13, 20-year-old Karon Fisher, identified in court records as a man but also described as a woman by authorities was caught on camera running over a man.
Steven Anderson, the victim, was struck by a car while walking on a Texas street on May 3 as he was on his way to check his mail. In the footage Fisher is seen driving fast down the street and running the victim over. The car then reversed and struck Anderson again which caused concerned neighbors to call 911 for help. As neighbors attempted to help the man out, Fisher was seen walking back to the scene with a knife in hand and flipped Anderson’s limp body over and began kissing him before stabbing his body nine times.

Fisher then walked away from scene as if nothing happened while neighbors watched the horrific aftermath. “It’s very disturbing. I have kids here; they could have been out here playing, and imagine them,” one neighbor explained to ABC13. Fisher was charged with the 64-year-old’s murder and is being held on a $2 million bond. “Broad daylight. People around every time and it happened right under our noses,” another neighbor added.
ABC13’s Brooke Taylor interviewed the neighbors, but the emotional toll of recounting the incident was overwhelming for them. One woman mentioned that she has been unable to return to work and is seeking therapy to cope with the trauma of the murder.

According to records, Fisher was under community supervision for five years for evading arrest in 2023. Additionally, Fisher had a prior charge of prostitution in 2021, although the case was ultimately dismissed. On the same day as the murder, Fisher was also charged with assaulting a hospital staff member.
