Kel Mitchell’s daughter is speaking out after his viral Club Shay Shay interview. In a new clip shared from the interview, the actor shared his side of the story about how messy his divorce was and also spoke about his daughter, Allure Mitchell’s social media video that went viral a few years ago.
As previously reported in 2022, Allure jumped on her TikTok to expose her father for being absent and her life and posted photos of a conversation she had with her dad. In the messages, Allure was attempting to get an answer on why her dad doesn’t see her as much, and according to the messages, Kel allegedly responded by saying he’s an actor and not a normal person with a 9-5 job. During the interview, Kel spoke about his daughter’s video and explained that his kids were being “coached” on what to say by their mother.

It didn’t take long for Allure to see the clip and she responded to multiple people in the comments to tell her side of the story. “Dad I honestly don’t understand why you keep putting this out here when I’ve told you men have been contacting me and calling me a sl*t because of my mother. I am your daughter and as a woman, I am so disappointed in you. I’d choose a bear over a man.” She also added, “And my stepdad didn’t change our names to hide us away from you, we’ve talked about this and you know why it was because my mom never wanted my little siblings to feel different than us. You got my brother and I tested to see if we were yours while the dad who stepped up took over the role you let go, please speak the truth.”
Kel Mitchell began to make headlines yesterday when he made some shocking claims about his ex-wife Tyisha Hampton. The actor from “Good Burger” shared with Shannon Sharpe about his journey to stardom, beginning in 1994 on the children’s program “All That,” and also revealed that his wife had multiple pregnancies from other men during their marriage.
“We had the abortion, but then we had a baby, and she ended up telling me that the baby that was aborted wasn’t mine,” he revealed. Sharpe then asked “So the marriage was never the same after that?” and Mitchell replied, “No, this is the beginning. This started at the beginning. Within that process and that being known … now I’m on TV. I don’t have time to really process that.”

The ex-child actor recounted how his wife Hampton faced a near-death experience in the hospital while giving birth to their first child, son Wisdom, in 1999. Despite this, he was pressured to return to work by writers. He went on to disclose that she became pregnant again during their marriage, but clarified, “It wasn’t me.”
“Yeah, I stuck around,” he told Sharpe. “These were things that were being revealed.”
