Oop! Dallas Rep. Jasmine Crockett isn’t backing down after going viral earlier this week, claiming Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has a “bleached blonde, bad-built, butch body.” She says, “I have no regrets … She has no decorum … She should not have crossed me.”

On Thursday evening (May 16), we previously shared a video to our Instagram showing Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett firing back at Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene after the latter spewed an insult during a congressional hearing.
The verbal fireworks broke out when the Georgia congresswoman commented on the Dallas congresswoman’s appearance during a U.S. House oversight committee meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to hold a vote of contempt for the Attorney General. This eventually happened, but not before the verbal jousting between the two congresswomen, which began when Greene told Crockett, “I think your fake eyelashes are messing up what you’re reading.”

Greene and Crockett ended up in a back-and-forth, resulting in the Republican committee chair ruling that Greene’s comment did not violate the rules of the committee. That’s when Jasmine Crockett returned fire at Marjorie Taylor Greene. Crockett asked the chair to clarify his decision, and in doing so, she took a shot at Greene.
She said, “I’m curious. To better understand your ruling, if someone on this committee starts talking about someone’s bleach blonde, bad-built butch body, that would not be engaging in personalities?” The comment left the chair initially puzzled and then Greene reacted, causing another back-and-forth between the two congresswomen. Even New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez jumped in to defend Jasmine Crockett against Marjorie Taylor Greene’s comments.

Since all of the hoopla, Jasmine Crockett reveals she has no regrets over her comments about Marjorie Taylor Greene’s body. While speaking with CNN, Congresswoman Crockett said, she will not tolerate being disrespected. She said, “I have no regrets, and I’ll tell you. Marjorie Taylor Greene is the type of person that if you give her an inch, she’ll take a mile. And the fact that they continue to allow her to break the rules of decorum over and over and over, whether it’s at the State of the Union that the president is delivering and she’s wearing a MAGA hat, or otherwise.”
She continued, “The reason that she didn’t have committee assignments before was because she did not know how to conduct herself as a member of Congress. So, if I just sit there and say, ‘Oh well, Marjorie said it about me,’ what’s to stop her [from] continuing to do it again and again? At the end of the day, I was elected as a representative of Congress, but that doesn’t mean that I’m supposed to be somebody’s doormat.”
