Nearly a month ago, GEL announced the follow-up to last year’s Only Constant, and now the rising New Jersey hardcore band will take those songs on a headlining tour this fall.
While GEL are just about to hit Europe for a wave of spring club and festival dates, and likewise have a previously announced run of eastern U.S. shows supporting Fiddlehead coming up this summer, the band will now also be taking the top spot on the marquee when they get back on the road in September.

The headlining trip begins Sept. 10 at Washington, D.C.’s Atlantis venue, and wraps up about six weeks later at the Sinclair in Boston, Massachusetts. The run also finds GEL supported by MSPAINT, Destiny Bond, and the Mall.
As previously announced, Persona is the first project GEL will release through Blue Grape Music (Code Orange, Spiritual Cramp). The five-song EP was teased earlier this year with the brutal “Mirage.” Vocalist Sami Kaiser explained in a press statement that the whole release marks a more “nuanced” approach for the band, adding: “It’s a step forward, it’s different, it’s catchy, but it still really sounds like us.”
