GOOD BOY is a Really Cool Concept For a Horror Film That Just Doesn’t Quite Land — GeekTyrant

Amazon Prime Video has announced a new U.K. original film titled My Fault: London.

Following the success of Spanish movie Culpa Mia (My Fault), the London version remakes the story of Nick and Noah, starring English talent Asha Banks (A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder) and Matthew Broome (The Buccaneers). Production has recently wrapped in the U.K.

My Fault: London will offer fans worldwide the British remake of this film based on the first book of Mercedes Ron’s bestselling Culpables trilogy (Culpa Mía, Culpa Tuya, Culpa Nuestra).

In My Fault: London, Noah’s mother, Ella, falls in love with a wealthy man and the two move from America to London to live with William and his son Nick. Upon arrival, the 18-year-old Noah meets “bad boy” Nick, and there is an immediate attraction between the two. She spends the summer adjusting to her new life, but unbeknownst to Noah, her estranged father has been released from prison and starts tracking her every move.

James Farrell, vp of international originals at Amazon MGM Studios, said: “We know fans around the world will be excited to hear that Prime Video will deliver them a brand new British remake of the first book of Mercedes Ron’s bestselling Culpables trilogy with My Fault: London. We’re delighted to be investing in rising talent Asha Banks and Matthew Broome as Nick and Noah, bringing this world renowned story to life through a British lens.”

In addition to Asha Banks and Matthew Broome, the My Fault: London cast includes Eve Macklin (Brooklyn) as Ella, Ray Fearon (Barbie) as William, Enva Lewis (How to Have Sex) as Jenna, Jason Flemyng (Black Dog) as Travis, Kerim Hassan (Champion) as Lion, Sam Buchanan (Back to Black) as Ronnie, Amelia Kenworthy (Messenger) as Anna and Harry Gilby (Tolkien) as Dan.

My Fault: London is produced by 42 and is directed by duo Dani Girdwood and Charlotte Fassler and the script has been written by Melissa Osborne (Change).

The U.K. original movie is produced by Ben Pugh and Erica Steinberg from 42, with Kari Hatfield serving as executive producer alongside Pokeepsie Films’ Alex de la Iglesia, Carolina Bang and Domingo González.

It will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
