Melissa Gorga blasted her sister-in-law and RHONJ OG Teresa Giudice over recent comments she made about her late parents.
Teresa Giudice believes that her late parents, Giacinto Gorga and Antonia Gorga, support her estrangement from her brother, Joe Gorga.
According to the RHONJ OG, her parents have given her “signs” and “validation” from beyond the grave that she is on the right path by remaining estranged from her younger brother.
“I see my parents now around me all the time –– especially what’s going on in my family life. And I’m getting validation that I’m on the right track,” she said on her “Namaste Bitches” podcast in October 2023.
More recently, Teresa appeared on CBS’s The Talk, where she reiterated her decision to cut off contact with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa Gorga.
Teresa explained: “I did a lot to keep the peace while my parents were alive. My parents are no longer here. And after what they did, after my wedding, tried to make my wedding all about them, that was the last straw. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back.”
“And, um, and this season, something else comes out that I was shocked to hear. Like my heart starts beating really fast just because I get if a stranger goes against me and that’s fine. You expect that from a stranger. But when your family member deliberately hurts you that’s on a whole another level.”
The 51-year-old RHONJ OG then doubled down that there was “no chance” at a “reconciliation” between her and the Gorgas.
She elaborated: “I get signs. I don’t know if anyone out here, um, you know, gets signs from people that have passed that you you know, that I was tremendously close with my parents. Like, my father lived with me after my mother passed away. I get signs from my parents all the time that I’m on the right track.”
Now, Melissa Gorga is blasting Teresa’s “sick” comments about her late parents, calling the RHONJ OG the “queen of toxicity.”
“This is a sick statement that she made. That’s a sick statement,” Melissa told “Extra” in an interview published on Wednesday, May 22. “What I’m saying is, you even want to take that away from [Joe]? Make him feel they’re not approving of his actions? It’s a control aspect.”
Melissa added that Teresa is “not the controller of me, my husband, or my family.”
“So she can take the drama. You can be the queen of your show, but you’re not the queen of me, my life, my house or my family, and that’s that. But she doesn’t like that, and that’s how it’s always gonna be,” she said.
“You can keep the drama You can keep the queen of toxicity. That’s on you. But I don’t want to be the queen of toxicity. I’m happy with what I have and living a happy life.”
Joe interjected, saying that he is going to “take the right road and not do anything” because his sister is still family.
Oddly enough, Joe recently called his sister’s comments on CBS’s The Talk “sick” as well.
“Wow, she is a sick human being. Manipulation at the deflection of her disgusting behavior. Her parents from heaven are telling her she is on the right path to hurt their son. That’s some sick shit,” Joe reportedly wrote on Instagram. However, many RHONJ fans think Melissa is the one who actually wrote the comment.
Meanwhile, Melissa doubled down on ending her relationship with Teresa because “certain things have happened that are just really hard to come back from.”
“Right now, no one is on talking terms with anyone because of the things that have happened,” she said. “To come after my marriage, for some reason, she’s never been happy for us. She’s never wanted to support us.”
