The Nitepunk of yesteryear is no more.
That was the message Nitepunk, one of EDM.com’s best music producers of 2023, sought to deliver earlier after releasing a gritty teaser trailer wherein he triumphs over his former self in an intense confrontation.

Nitepunk then dropped “Steps On You (Peep My Style)” shortly thereafter, and it’s seemingly more evident than ever that he’s hellbent on pushing the limits of his game. A furious blend of trap and dubstep with tinctures of garage rock influence, Nitepunk’s latest is not a complete reinvention of what fans have come to know and expect, but rather an evolved form of his signature style.
Taking to social media, he reflected on the trials and tribulations of his breakout 2023 while expressing optimism about the chapter ahead.
“Last year it all happened so fast, starting with the debut album, big heartbreak, and then insane touring schedule, releases piling up, just so much, me and my team were barely keeping it all together and at the end of the year i was beyond burnt out in every way,” Nitepunk shared. “We learned a lot from it and i actually took time to fix my life get myself to a better place, music and ideas started to flow more and now we’re here.”
