Jax Taylor, 44, grabs lunch with model Paige Woolen, 32, following split with wife Brittany Cartwright. Get all the details!
The Valley star and the 32-year-old model were photographed at Granville Cafe in Los Angeles on Saturday for a three-hour lunch date.
Woolen arrived in a limousine to pick up Jax Taylor from the home he shares with his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright.
The two showed no signs of PDA as they were photographed arriving and leaving their lunch date. Jax Taylor kept it casual in black skinny jeans, a black tee, a denim long-sleeve shirt, a black baseball cap, and white sneakers. Woolen, on the other hand, rocked a skintight black bodysuit and white sneakers.
After lunch, the two headed to the Bravo star’s sports bar, Jax’s Studio City, before parting ways.
This outing comes just one day after Jax Taylor was spotted getting cozy with a mystery woman at The Oaks Tavern in Sherman Oaks, California.
This latest development in Jax and Brittany’s fractured relationship comes almost four months after their separation after five years of marriage.
On February 29, Brittany Cartwright announced that she and Jax were “taking time apart.” The Vanderpump Rules alum announced the news on her and Jax’s podcast When Reality Hits With Jax and Brittany.
“Yes, marriages in general are very hard, and I’ve had a particularly rough year this past year,” the Kentucky native said in the episode. “Jax and I are taking time apart, and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health.”
She later revealed that a lack of intimacy fueled their separation. It turns out that Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor’s sex life was drier than the desert in Palm Springs in the year leading up to their recent split.
However, it seems that Jax’s temper, inability to contribute to their marriage, and lack of willingness to work on their marital issues pushed Brittany over the edge and gave her the courage to move out of their marital home.
“I’m taking care of my toddler, and I’m also taking care of another toddler named Jax Taylor because I basically do everything for the household,” the 35-year-old told PEOPLE in April.
She added, “I just want to feel appreciated and want to feel wanted by the person that I’m married to.”
“It definitely can be challenging,” she added. “I still love Jax very much, but he is a hard person to deal with, and I think everybody in the world knows that.”
Jax and Brittany met in 2015 at the Gold Spike Lounge in Las Vegas. The Kentucky native quickly moved to Los Angeles to be with Jax and first appeared on season 4 of Vanderpump Rules. By 2016, Brittany had landed a job at SUR and became an official VPR cast member.
After some ups and downs in their relationship, Jax proposed in June 2018, and the couple said ‘I do’ a little more than a year later, in 2019.
They welcomed their son, Cruz, in April 2021.
