Robert De Niro didn’t hold back his words when engaging in a verbal confrontation with MAGA supporters outside the courtroom of Donald Trump’s hush money trial.
The actor openly criticized the former president, calling him a barrage of names such as “grubby real estate hustler,” “clown,” and “two-bit playboy.”
He also claimed that Trump wants to destroy the country and should not be allowed to be reelected.

Amid Trump’s hush money trial on Tuesday, a fiery exchange went down between Hollywood legend De Niro and MAGA supporters.
De Niro was out for blood as he lambasted the politics of Trump, claiming that the former president intends to ruin the country and possibly the entire world.
He said to the press, “I love this city; I don’t want to destroy it. Donald Trump wants to destroy not only the city but the country, and eventually, he could destroy the world.”
De Niro also unleashed a slew of demeaning words to describe the billionaire mogul, saying he was just another “grubby real estate hustler masquerading as a big shot,” “a two-bit playboy lying his way into the tabloids,” and a “clown.”

Doubling down on his stance, De Niro also took a shot at MAGA supporters, claiming that they “bought into [Trump’s] bullsh-t” and that the former president bought their “votes with outrageous lies and empty promises.”

Despite facing backlash from MAGA supporters who criticized his career, De Niro remained resolute in his message.
He claimed that Trump would use “violence against anyone who stands in the way of his megalomania and greed,” referencing the Capitol violence, which he alleged that Trump started by stirring his supporters.
De Niro said, “‘You think Trump ever threw a punch himself or took one? This guy who ran and hid in the White House bunker when there were protesters outside? No way. He doesn’t get blood on his hands. No, he doesn’t. He directs the mob to do his dirty work for him.”

De Niro also urged listeners to throw their vote behind Joe Biden, adding that reelecting Trump would spell doom for democracy in the country.
“I can tell you right now. He will never leave,” the actor added, per DailyMail. “Do we want him running this country and saying I’m not leaving, I’m dictator for life?”
In an earlier interview with Bill Maher, DeNiro called Trump a “monster,” noting that the billionaire would be a “nightmare” if reelected president.
He said, “We wanna live in a world that we want to live in and enjoy living in, or live in a nightmare? Vote for Trump and you’ll get the nightmare, vote for Biden and we’ll be back to normalcy.”

On X (formerly Twitter), more MAGA supporters reacted to De Niro’s shouting match with their colleagues at the trial.
One person said, “A terrible speech by a horrible washed-up actor for an even worse president. How flagrantly obvious to have an anti-Trump speech across the street from the courthouse where OUR PRESIDENT is going through MORE ELECTION INTERFERENCE.”
Another wrote, “De Niro is done. Before you hate, just look into the allegations from back in the day. He’s just as bad as all of the old Hollywood boy’s club actors. There’s a reason why the shills don’t like Trump, and they are in panic!”
A third person commented, “This was idiotic by the Biden campaign. Having DeNiro rage like a lunatic at Trump supporters undermines that Biden and his team are calm, cool, and collected — unlike Trump.”

Donald Trump’s Hush Money Trial Has Entered Into Its Final Phase
On Tuesday, prosecutors and the defense presented their final remarks in the hush money trial, with each side vigorously attempting to sway the jury in their favor.
The former president is accused of 34 counts of fraud linked to hush money payments made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels during Trump’s 2016 campaign.
After the concluding commentaries, the jury will deliberate on the verdict, with a decision expected within three to four days.
Trump has pleaded not guilty to the charges and has maintained a confrontational stance throughout the trial. This behavior has resulted in multiple fines for violating his gag order.
If found guilty of the charges in the hush money trial, Trump faces up to a decade in prison.
