Sonja Morgan is finally bidding farewell to her iconic New York City townhouse, which was infamously featured on Bravo’s RHONY after being sold to the highest bidder in an online auction.
According to the New York Post, Sonja Morgan’s Upper East Side townhouse sold for $4.45 million on Wednesday after a two-week online auction.
The RHONY alum purchased the home in 1998 with her then-husband, J.P. Morgan heir John Morgan, for $9.1 million.
After their nasty divorce, she listed it at a cool $9.95 million in 2013. Since then, reality TV stars have attempted to offload the home multiple times with no success.
“This cherished home has been the heart of memories for our family for decades,” Sonja Morgan reflected in a statement to Page Six. “Now, as we move forward, it is time for someone else to build their own memories here, just as we did. I know now was the time for this beautiful townhouse on the Upper East Side to embark on its next chapter.”
“I’ll always be a New Yorker at heart, but to be able to travel with my Sonja In Your City Improv Comedy tour freely without having to rent out our home is a weight lifted off my shoulders,” she continued. “It facilitates my creativity towards my other important endeavors as well. Wherever I go I go.”
The 5,500-square-foot, five-floor townhouse on 63rd Street features an elevator, five bedrooms, and six bathrooms.
Other property amenities include a sauna, a gym, a library, and an outdoor space with a 575-square-foot landscaped garden. There is also a 150-square-foot terrace located on the fourth floor.

RHONY will return to Bravo for season 15 in late 2024.
