Club Space is inviting partygoers to dance through one last sunrise and one last sunset before its summer hiatus. And with a no-phones policy, this 24-hour party promises to be a mesmerizing journey back to the roots of pure, undistracted revelry.

The decision to implement the policy is all about creating an authentic clubbing atmosphere. Space will provide attendees with pouches to securely store phones before they flow into the club for its last 24-hour celebration in the immediate future.

Throughout the electronic dance music community at large, fans have been asked to leave their phones at the door more in recent memory as artists and event organizers alike aim to curate dancefloors without hollow distraction. Similar action was taken recently by Damian Lazarus in Ibiza, by Wavedash on the trio’s 2024 tour, and by James Hype and Meduza at select “Our House” shows.

Following their groundbreaking party, the iconic Miami nightlife institution will hit pause to accommodate nearby urban development. The venue’s proprietors are planning significant adjustments to its exit infrastructure, including demolishing the current staircase and building a new north-side stairwell, necessitated by the construction of the adjacent E11EVEN Hotel and Residences.

Despite the hiatus, the club’s spirit remains unbroken. “The party is never over,” Space assured fans in a recent Instagram post, promising a return in the fall of 2024. Until then, the venue’s owners will aim keep the party going at their sister venue, the nearby Factory Town.

Tickets to the June 2nd closing party at Club Space are on sale now.
