4Batz opened up about his ex-girlfriend in a recent interview with GQ and explained how the brutal end of their three-year relationship inspired him to pursue music — if only as a way to show her what she’s missing.
“[One day] she called my phone and she said, ‘Batz, I don’t want to be with you no more. I’m just not fucking with you,’” he recalled. “Literally a month before that, my pops died.
“So I said, ‘All right, well, if you do that, I’m going to blow the fuck up. I’m going to be on all these interviews, I’m going to be on all these blogs, I’m going to be on all these motherfucking…. I’m going to be everywhere, and I’m going to shit on you. I’m going to make you feel bad.’
“My blood was boiling, bro, and I was just going in for like 10 minutes straight with my eyes closed, and by the time I stopped talking I noticed she had hung up. And then I was like, Shit, she doesn’t care no more.”
Batz said he saw his ex showing off a new man on social media the very next day, causing him to fall into a “deep depression” and contemplate suicide.
In another recent sit-down with Complex, the viral sensation continued to rub his success in his ex’s face by admitting that “every song” on his debut EP U Made Me a St4r is about her.
He also joked about giving his former flame free VIP tickets to his upcoming tour.
