A new supergroup is well on their way with new music, and their name is LSZEE.
The dynamic duo, a joint effort between LSDREAM and CloZee, is set to release a pair of singles, “French Dream” and “Chrysalis,” later this week. The tracks are setting the stage for something much bigger, however: a debut album slated for release in September.
The journey of LSZEE began back in 2022 during a studio trip to Joshua Tree, where the two artists discovered a profound creative synergy.
“We tapped into the most abundant creative spark, and the music just started flowing,” they said in a joint statement. “We kept writing more and more songs, exploring new ideas that inspired us, and having the best time, being in awe of each other’s creativity.”
Save for a few previews of unreleased songs, no one quite knows what to expect from LSZEE in the studio or on stage. But that hasn’t stopped this project from picking up steam as CloZee and LSDREAM are set to take the stage together at a series of high-profile events and festivals this summer, including Electric Forest, North Coast, Bass Canyon and Colorado’s iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

“This body of work, about 20 collabs is what the LSZEE live show is built around,” they added. “The 90-minute set is mostly this original music, and of course a few tunes from the homies. You won’t hear that many songs from our personal catalog, but we did do some LSZEE remixes for some of our favorites!”
