How will Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact play?

Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact’s Introduction trailer offers an overview of developer Bushiroad Games’ upcoming title. Revealed in March, it sees players form a team of three fighters they can switch between on the fly. The game also features single-button combos and the Over Gear mechanic, which gives players a boost when they’re on the ropes.

The Introduction trailer also showcased several of the game’s playable characters. Featured most prominently in the trailer are protagonist Gon, his friend Killua, fellow Hunters Leorio, Kurapika, and Hisoka, and Hunter Association Chairman Netero. Another trailer shows gameplay featuring Bisky in both her child and towering adult forms.

Japanese fans got to play the Hunter x Hunter fighting games’s first demo at EVO Japan in April. However, American fans can also get hands-on at Anime Expo, which runs from July 4 through July 7 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Fans can visit the Arc System Works booth to try the game’s playable demo. Anime Expo attendees can also visit Bushiroad Games’ booth for a photo opportunity. The studio additionally plans to reveal a new character promotional video during a panel on July 6.
