The Star Wars High Republic timeline has been put into the spotlight with the live-action The Acolyte on Disney Plus. This is the first time a major Star Wars series has been set during this time period, but fans know that this is hardly the first time that the franchise has delved into the era. Many novels, comics, and other media have taken place during the High Republic era, when the Jedi was at the height of its power across the galaxy. But it can be confusing trying to figure out how all of the media fits together. Here is a breakdown of the timeline for the High Republic period in Star Wars.

Where does The Acolyte fit in the Star Wars High Republic timeline?

The Acolyte is specifically set in Year 132 BBY, give or take a few years, which is near the end of the Star Wars High Republic timeline.

As for what that means in context, the following is a rundown of the comics, books, and shows that are set during this era, which takes place from around 500 BBY to 100 BBY. We’ve placed them in chronological order within the Star Wars universe.

Star Wars: The Acolyte on Disney Plus

As you can see, a few comic book series have issues that take place in different years of the era. The same goes for the short story series Tales of Light and Life. There are also a handful of ongoing comics set in the High Republic from different publishers, so it can be rough working out which series is which. Hopefully, this list helps to put all of the media in the right order.
