Bravo recently unveiled the trailer for season 18 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, and it has fans talking. In addition, according to reports, newbie Katie Ginella found some of her castmates so intolerable that she wanted to quit the show. In particular, she seems to have butted heads with Heather Dubrow and Emily Simpson.
Season 18 of the RHOC will also feature returners Shannon Beador, Tamra Judge, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Jennifer Pedranti. Katie is the only new Housewife on the show, and former star Alexis Bellino will serve as an official ‘friend of.’ The season will also feature appearances from former cast members and Housewives from other shows, including Vicki Gunvalson and Teddi Mellencamp.
According to Radar Online, Katie didn’t have the best time filming the show for her inaugural season. In fact, sources that the outlet considers reliable say that she wanted to quit midway through the season. Her biggest sources of contention came from Heather, who she is said to “hate,” and Emily, who Katie allegedly feels is “two-faced.”
The source says that Katie also described Emily as “completely different to her off-camera” and “fake AF.” Fans will recall from the recent trailer for RHOC season 18 that it seems Katie and Heather will have drama with each other.
However, the report does point out that they reached out to other sources close to production for clarification, and they denied the rumors, which means Katie and Emily might not have issues this season.
Still, the outlet does mention that it was the same source that informed them months ago that Katie would be an official orange holder instead of a’ friend of,’ so rumors might be true.
Of course, these won’t be the only pieces of drama on the season. As mentioned, Alexis is returning, and she happens to be dating Shannon’s ex. Additionally, Tamra and Jennifer also aren’t on great terms this season.
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 will premiere on Bravo on July 11. Fans can catch up with the show on Peacock ahead of the new season.
