Donald Duck celebrates his 90th birthday this year and to honor the occasion Disney Animation has released a brand new Donald Duck short titled D.I.Y. Duck.
In the story, “Donald tries his hand at home repairs, which begins with the replacement of a light bulb and quickly turns into a series of comic catastrophes. His temper flairs and his frustration grows as things spiral out of control and lead to an explosive finale.”
Donald Duck is probably my favorite of the original Disney characters so it’s fun to see a new short that pretty much captures everything I enjoy about the character.
The short was written and directed by animator and Disney Legend Mark Henn, who has been working on animated projects for Disney ever since The Fox and the Hound in 1981.
