Jodie Turner-Smith has broken her silence about her ex-husband, Joshua Jackson, hooking up with Lupita Nyong’o.
E! Online reports the ‘Queen & Slim’ star stated that the actor’s happiness benefits her and their daughter.

‘The Independent’ actress was open about her feelings concerning Jackson and his new love interest, Lupita. “Good for them,” she stated in an interview with The Cut on June 14. “We need happiness in order to peacefully co-parent,” Jodie added.
The former couple shares a 4-year-old daughter named Juno. Their marriage lasted for four years before they split in 2023. The 37-year-old is wishing the new couple well and hoping to emulate another famous former couple when it comes to co-parenting. “I’m trying to get us to the Gwyneth [Paltrow] and Chris Martin level,” she quipped.
“I truly hope they’re happy and that it benefits us as a family,” Jodie stated.
Smith’s main priority remains ensuring a smooth co-parenting relationship for the sake of their daughter. “I just have to do everything that I can to set Juno up to win, and to peacefully co-parent with someone whom I once loved very, very much.”

The most important thing is that you choose what’s healthiest for you and your family and definitely your children.” She didn’t consider the marriage a failure, but when something is no longer serving you, you must move on.
The following month, Jackson and Nyong’o were seen packing on the PDA during a tropical birthday getaway for Lupita in Mexico. TSR secured exclusive photos of the pair on their romantic getaway. E! Online reports an eyewitness said, “They looked madly in love, like they just couldn’t get enough of one another.”
According to Radar Online, it seems like Jodie might be over her ex-hubby. The outlet reported that she divorced Jackson over “dark moods” he brought home from the characters he portrayed. An insider stated that Turner-Smith felt the marriage was “unhealthy” and it was best to end the relationship.
