On Wednesday, the Effortless Motors dealership in Riverside posted a video clip showing a new Bugatti being loaded onto a truck. The caption of the post stated that LeBron James was their “biggest VIP customer” and congratulated him for trusting their business.
Lebron quickly shut down those claims with a post to his Instagram story. “Stop the [cap]!!” Bron said on Friday. “LIARS!! I don’t know y’all and I don’t even have that car. CLOUT CHASERS.”

Many of LeBron James’ fans visited the dealership’s profile and left negative comments, echoing the basketball star’s sentiments and criticizing the business for exploiting his name for their own gain.
TMZ Sports interviewed Effortless Motors owner Daniel Ubario, who confessed that the post was simply a marketing tactic. He admitted that he did not anticipate the post gaining as much attention as it did. Furthermore, Ubario clarified that he has never collaborated with LeBron in any capacity before, including not having any involvement with this specific car.

He also mentioned that he reached out to personally apologize to James regarding the incident, but has not received a response yet. While the marketing ploy may have garnered the company more attention, there is a possibility that it could lead to negative consequences. In the past, celebrities have not hesitated to take legal action against individuals or companies for false advertising.
