Monica Garcia on Report She Failed Psych Eval for The Traitors

Monica Garcia clapped back at a report that she was booted from The Traitors – a competition show that features many Bravolebrities – for failing a “psych evaluation.” The star threatened legal action against the outlet that reported it.

Monica exited Real Housewives of Salt Lake City after castmates discovered her involvement with a ‘troll account’ that denigrated co-stars. The star is seen as controversial to many fans of the show, though the ratings for her season were through the roof. While many view her as a “villain,” she brought plenty of entertainment to what could have been a stale season.

On Instagram via @bravosnarkside, Monica reacted to a headline from The Neighborhood Talk that read: “Former ‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ Star, Monica Garcia, Who Was Caught Running a Fake Account That Bullied Her Co-Stars, Was Allegedly Booted from NBC’s ‘Traitors’ Because She Failed a Psych Exam.”

Monica commented, “This is actually terrible that you would post this. Complete lie. Disgusting! … Let’s get on the call with the executives together. Let’s find out how good your source is. I am the source. I didn’t even do one interview. Pathetic and absolutely disgusting.”

She wrote in a separate comment, “@theneighborhoodtalk I will be taking legal action. This is insanely damaging and FALSE.”

Monica then shared the headline on her Instagram Stories, writing, “WHAT THE F!!!!! Are you serious right now!!!??”

She also shared a video claiming the outlet should be “absolutely ashamed” of themselves.

“To go out there and make and publish a claim that I failed a psych evaluation is a complete lie,” she said. “It’s disgusting. Also like to play with my mental health like that is extremely disturbing. I didn’t even go through the process of Traitors to where I would even be asked to take a psych evaluation. It didn’t even go that far. I was never even asked to take a psych evaluation. So to sit here and say that I failed one … is wild.”
