RHOM star Alexia Nepola reveals that she’s been hooked up with her husband, Todd Nepola since he filed for divorce and says they are in couples therapy.
While appearing on Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge‘s Two Ts in a Pod podcast, Real Housewives of Miami star Alexia Nepola revealed that she and her estranged husband, Todd Nepola, have taken steps to repair their marriage so much so that they have even been intimate since separating earlier this year.
“We’ve done it all,” the RHOM star said when asked about her and Todd’s post-split hookups. “Yeah, we love each other. We’re super into each other.”
“For me, it was working,” Alexia said about her relationship with Todd. “I just thought that there were typical fights and problems that every couple has. But it’s not how much you fight or how hard you fight, it’s being able to work through those fights and find resolution. And I think that that’s where we have our biggest challenge.”
“He knew what he was getting himself into,” the RHOM star explained, “but I think that once they’re in it, they’re like, ‘Oh, I don’t like this. How do I get out of it?’… I felt like he’s very impulsive and that was the decision (filing for divorce) he took at that moment. And then after being away from each other, I think the distance sometimes is good because you can refresh and you have time to think about things and in a different environment than when you’re at each other’s throats every day, even though that wasn’t the case before.”
The RHOM OG then confirmed she and Todd are now in couple’s therapy in order to work on salvaging their marriage. Despite being completely heartbroken over Todd’s divorce filing, she admitted she wanted him back.
“I’m madly in love with him and I would want it to work out,” Alexia continued. “So that’s why it’s so difficult. But, you know, there’s a lot there, there’s a lot to unpack. But again, I feel that being in the public eye is so much harder, and I think that’s one of the reasons that he’s struggling with this.”
As previously reported, Todd Nepola filed for divorce from Alexia Nepola on Thursday, April 11 in Miami-Dade County.
In the filing, Todd claimed his marriage to Alexia is “irretrievably broken.” The court filing also revealed that the estranged couple signed a prenuptial agreement on December 10, 2021 — six days before they tied the knot on December 16.
However, the details of their prenup remain confidential.
This is the RHOM OG’s third marriage.
The Real Housewives of Miami is expected to return to Bravo in early 2025.
