More Artist Friendly is on the way. Following conversations with Jon Foreman of Switchfoot, Trixie Mattel, and Darius Rucker, Grace Potter will join Joel Madden on the latest episode of the series.
Potter is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter whose bluesy approach takes inspiration from the ’60s and ’70s, when singers like Janis Joplin and Aretha Franklin regined. Last year, she released her fifth studio album, Mother Road, which was produced by her husband Eric Valentine. Recorded across Nashville, Topanga, and Hollywood, Potter was motivated to write the LP after returning from a road trip, and in a few days, she’ll head out on a tour in support that runs until the fall.
